Scully’s often talked about the importance of letting the game breathe during a broadcast, and after Aaron’s record-breaking clout clears the fence you get a full one minute and 45 seconds of nothing but ambient baseball. And it’s wonderful. Then, of course, Scully goes on to place us in the moment as only he can.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
