As many\/most of you know, Jim was one of the founders of the North Amnerican Fastpitch Association (NAFA) and is one of the game&#8217;s most asute observers.<\/p>\n<p>I thought the comment warranted a blog post of its own, in case any of you missed it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Jim Williamson says<br \/>\nJuly 8, 2015 at 12:55 pm    <\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The seeds for Canada\u2019s Championship in the WBSC World Championship were sewn at Softball Canada\u2019s 2015 Senior Mens Championship. 3Cheers Pub\/Bud Light won Softball Canada\u2019s senior men\u2019s championship in early September in Charlottetown, P.E.I., defeating another St. John\u2019s based team, Kelly\u2019s Pub Molson Bulldogs, in that sport\u2019s first all-Newfoundland Canadian final.<\/p>\n<p>It was the third straight national softball crown for 3Cheers Pub\/Bud Light, erasing all those oh-so-close memories at the nationals. I watched nearly every game of that Championship. That was the most competitive tournament I have ever watched in my 50 years in the game.
