Update from the AAU, September 7, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve run into a slight problem with the facility. We are working on it but there is a small possibility that things may have to change. In the meanwhile, we are having to put a temporary halt on things. Sorry for any confusion but better now than after folks bought airline tickets\u2026<\/p>\n

Don’t buy any airline tickets yet. We’ve run into a slight glitch with the facility. We will keep you advised. Arrangements may have to change. Stay tuned…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Click logo for AAU Facebook page<\/figcaption><\/figure>The dates and location of the 2017 AAU Men’s International Tournament have now been set. The tournament will take place January 26-29, 2017 at the Seminole Softball Complex in Altamonte Springs. There is NO admission fee this year for spectators and no long walk to the fields. The county does require it be a stay-to-play tournament meaning in order to participate, you must stay in one of their approved hotels. There will be price points from the very low to about $109. AAU will NOT be taking a rebate from the hotels. The entry fee for the tourney will be only $695. Watch for the official documents. We are looking forward to having all the teams back for a new chapter in this outstanding, fun-filled event.<\/p>\n

Editor’s note: Some fans have inquired about the location of the Seminole Complex, to Disney, the Orlando Airport and the old Wide World of Sports complex. Click here to view a map showing the location and distances<\/a>. Short answer: about a half hour north of the WWOS complex, and about the same distance from the airport, just in the other direction.<\/p>\n
