2020 Men\u2019s Major Fast Pitch National Championship relocates to the Softball Capital of the World\u00ae <\/strong> Web Release: Link<https:\/\/USASoftball.us17.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=3cb6efc2039accb2bb3032261&id=16689db476&e=5632bdd958<\/a>> OKLAHOMA CITY \u2013 The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex will once again host some of the top men\u2019s fast pitch players in the world as the 2020 USA Softball Men\u2019s Major Fast Pitch National Championship has been relocated to Oklahoma City. Originally scheduled to be held in South Bend, Ind., the relocation is due to anticipated restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. With the relocation to Oklahoma City, the dates for the premier men\u2019s fast pitch National Championship have also been adjusted to now take place August 20-23, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are excited to bring this prestigious National Championship to the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex,\u201d said USA Softball Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Craig Cress. \u201cThe Men\u2019s Major Fast Pitch National Championship has such a storied history within our organization and adding an event of this caliber to the lineup of events that will be held this year at our newly-renovated facility is going to be special. We look forward to welcoming the teams to our home here in Oklahoma City.\u201d The Men\u2019s Major Fast Pitch National Championship dates back to 1933 when USA Softball, known then as the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America, was founded during the World’s Fair in Chicago, Ill. This will mark the first time that the Men\u2019s Major Fast Pitch National Championship will be played at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in the venue\u2019s 33-year history. It also marks the first time since the 2018 Men\u2019s Masters 50-Over Fast Pitch National Championship that a men\u2019s fast pitch event will be held at the facility.
