As of February 2021, several key metrics show that COVID-19 transmission is gradually slowing in Nevada so they updated its COVID-19 Guidance for Recreational Sports on February 17, 2021 which states that tournaments MAY resume on Monday, March 15, 2021, if approved in accordance with the \u201cSPORTS COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS & SAFETY PLAN.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to proceed with the tournament as scheduled. We will provide you additional updates if anything changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due Date<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entry fee of $585 and the attached team roster that needs to be returned in a Word format<\/strong> is now due for those teams that have expressed interest in participating in the tournament. If money is not received by March 1, 2021 you may lose your spot to a team on the waiting list who has paid their entry fee. This due date will provide teams on the waiting list sufficient time to make appropriate arrangements to participate if they get in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways of paying your entry fee to ensure you meet the due date and not lose your spot. You can pay online by visiting our website and clicking on the \u201cPay Online<\/a>\u201d button on the left hand side column or by check but paying online is the preferred method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARIZONA CHARLIE\u2019S BOULDER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please help keep the tournament cost down by booking with Arizona Charlie\u2019s and receive the following special rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 14th year, the host hotel will be Arizona Charlie\u2019s Boulder. There will be a select number of rooms at a special rate of $70 per night for Friday and Saturday and $40 for Thursday and Sunday nights if you book directly with the hotel using their 800 number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special rate goes quickly so try to book your rooms as soon as possible because once the selected number of rooms book, any additional rooms available will be reverted back to the hotel\u2019s going rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to receive this rate, you must book by midnight of the cut-off date March 25, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arizona Charlie\u2019s Boulder offers a casino, buffet and sit down dining along with live music in the casino bar\/lounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUNSET AND WARM SPRINGS PARKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information regarding the event, game results and player statistics will be posted on the SCIFL website. This year’s tournament will be played at Sunset Park and Warm Springs Park; both are located within 1\/4-mile of each other and are located by the Las Vegas International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Game times will be available once the tournament is filled and everyone has paid their entry fee or two weeks before the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Break Down<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakdown of each division will consist of 10 teams in the AA, 14 in the A-Major, and 26 in the A totaling a 50 team tournament due to the number of fields available and the city\u2019s curfew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
