The orange squad will open the tournament on 6 December against host Peru, following the Opening Ceremony at Villa Maria del Triunfo Complex.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/honkbalsoftbalnl\/\">honkbalsoftbalnl<\/a><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/honkbalsoftbalnl\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=0dac02b6-f7e7-4a9d-b144-1a9c8d9a08ae\">On Instagram<\/a>.<\/p><p>Head&nbsp;coach Saskia Kosterink&nbsp;included on the roster three veterans from the WBSC U-19 Women\u2019s Softball World Cup 2019, that finished 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;in Irvine, California: Outfielders&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/u18wswc.wbsc.org\/en\/2019\/teams\/NED\/players\/25375\"><strong>Michelle Schuur<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/u18wswc.wbsc.org\/en\/2019\/teams\/NED\/players\/25366\"><strong>Amy Felix<\/strong><\/a>, and infielder&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/u18wswc.wbsc.org\/en\/2019\/teams\/NED\/players\/25367\"><strong>Reganied Franka<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p><p>The Netherlands have participated in 11 editions of the youth World Championship, missing only the 2011 and 2015 editions. They have finished in sixth place three times, their best position ever in the competition.
