Colombia\u2019s two runs were scored in the first inning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bertorelli was brilliant. The 14-year-old right hander used 95 pitches to complete the shutout, with six strikeouts, while allowing four hits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aminah Vega and Janelle Martinez produced Puerto Rico\u2019s five runs in the game, leading the way in their team\u2019s 5-2 win over Peru on Wednesday afternoon. The victory keeps Puerto Rico in the fight for a medal spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chinese Taipei defeated Mexico, 5-1, and remains unbeaten, with a 4-0 record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Kuei-Ping Yeh put Chinese Taipei in front with an RBI single in the top of the sixth, and one inning later her team added four more runs to the scoreboard, with RBI singles by Yung-Chi Chang and Chiao-Chi Lai, and a pair of fielder\u2019s choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hsia-Ai Ke was the winner of the game, pitching 3.1 frames in relief.
