Here is the schedule for this weekend’s Masters tournament. The entry fee for 2022 is now $260 with the exception of the 2-day modified tournament that will be held in August.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NAFA office has informed me they are adding a 35 and over Masters division in Carson City in 2022. This means that Carson City Masters World Series will now have a division for 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65. Although NAFA has decided to add a 35 and over division, SCIFL will continue to be a 40 and over league allowing only pitchers 40 and over to pitch and using three players 37 and over to play the field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SCIFL is a non-profit organization that only receives funds from the entry fee teams pay to cover the expenses of running a tournament. Once a team commits to the tournament the expenses are calculated and the field rentals are paid in advance. If a team has committed and then decides to drop out of the tournament, for any reason, they will be subject to the entry fee to cover expenses. The fees will need to be paid prior to any future SCIFL and NAFA tournaments to avoid the team\u2019s roster (players) from suspension. SCIFL will take the team\u2019s roster from the last tournament the team played and will place it on a suspension list if the cancellation fee is not paid.
