HILL UNITED CHIEFS’s Two Pitchers Combine In No-Hitter To Defeat MIDLAND<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a>‘s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a> defeated MIDLAND 13-0 on Friday. NICHOLAS PATRICK<\/a> struck out Matt Dickey<\/a> to get the last out of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHANE BOLAND<\/a> led HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a> to victory by driving in four runs. BOLAND<\/a> went 2-for-3 at the plate. BOLAND<\/a> drove in runs on a home run in the second and a single in the fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first inning, HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a> got their offense started when BRUNO MOTRONI<\/a> homered on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a> put up seven runs in the fifth inning. HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a>‘s offense in the inning came from singles by PIPILO (EDGAR) LOPEZ<\/a> and BOLAND<\/a>, a sac fly by THOMAS ENOKA<\/a>, and a home run by NICK SHAILES<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PABLO MIGLIAVACCA<\/a> took the win for HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a>. The hurler went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out eight. PATRICK<\/a> threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle Linton<\/a> took the loss for MIDLAND. The hurler surrendered six runs on four hits over three innings, striking out three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a> socked three home runs on the day. BOLAND<\/a> put one out in the second inning. MOTRONI<\/a> had a four bagger in the first inning. SHAILES<\/a> went yard in the fifth inning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a> scattered ten hits in the game. BOLAND<\/a>, BRADLEY EZEKIEL<\/a>, and MOTRONI<\/a> all had multiple hits for HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a>. MOTRONI<\/a>, EZEKIEL<\/a>, and BOLAND<\/a> all had two hits to lead HILL UNITED CHIEFS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MIDLAND didn’t commit a single error in the field. Freddie Bradford<\/a> had the most chances in the field with seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Midland’s record in the tournament falls to 1-1, as the Explorers topped Dolan & Murphy on opening night, 8-1. The Chiefs advance to play again tonight, at 8pm EDT\/5pm PDT against the AWP Lumberjacks, who defeated the AHI Reapers Thursday night, 4-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner of the Hill United-AWP Lumberjacks will advance to face the winner of the other 8pmEDT\/5pm PDT game, Circle Tap vs. Kitchener Hallman Twins, Saturday at 2pm EDT\/11am PDT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
