Thursday’s game against Canada was a heartbreaker for USA Men’s National Team<\/a>, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Canada batting in the bottom of the sixth when B Abrey<\/a> doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA Men’s National Team<\/a> fired up the offense in the second inning. Cameron Schiller<\/a> homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning, when S Boland<\/a> hit a solo homer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S Cleary<\/a> earned the win for Canada. The pitcher went five innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out eight. Justin Schofield<\/a> threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brad Kilpatrick<\/a> took the loss for USA Men’s National Team<\/a>. Kilpatrick<\/a> surrendered four runs on eight hits over six innings, striking out five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA Men’s National Team<\/a> hit one home run on the day. Schiller<\/a> went yard in the second inning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blaine Milheim<\/a> went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead USA Men’s National Team<\/a> in hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada tallied eight hits on the day. Abrey<\/a>, Boland<\/a>, and Quinton Bruce<\/a> all managed multiple hits for Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
