Aug 31)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Riley Manion<\/strong> was dominant on the mound, striking out 11 in Bear Creek&#8217;s 4-3 victory over the Host Sooke Loggers on Thursday.  <strong>Manion<\/strong> surrendered seven hits and three runs over seven innings, while walking one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A single by <strong>Kyle Cowick<\/strong> put the Loggers on the board in the top of the fourth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quintin Bruce<\/strong> homered to center field, to tie the game in the bottom of the fourth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A three run sixth was the difference maker for the Express, with singles by <strong>Dallas Kipfer<\/strong> and <strong>Nic Moore.<\/strong> <strong>Moore<\/strong> had two RBI in the contest, while <strong>Dean Layland<\/strong> and<strong> Kyle Cowick <\/strong>each collected two hits for the Loggers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Game three win against the HOST Sooke Loggers.
