Bucknell Park Rallies to Defeat Bodle Chiropractic And Win the 43^rd Annual Seattle Invitational.

 With one out, and nobody on in the top of the 7^th inning, Bucknell Park (Lacey, WA) rallied for 3 runs to defeat Bodle Chiropractic (Burien, WA)  3 – 2 and win the 43^rd Annual Seattle Invite.  The Bodle team had taken a 2 – 0  lead going into the final inning on the strength of Mike Linnane’s 1^st inning home run and Billy Wilkerson’s RBI single in the 6^th.  With Bodle’s Dave Drotzman shutting out Bucknell through the 6^th (8 K’s through 6), it appeared that Bodle (the runner-up twice previously) might finally win the Invite.  However, Bucknell Park would not give up.  With one out, Mark Johnson worked a nine pitch base on balls. Wilkerson then bobbled a Scott Meyer ground ball (only Bodle’s 3^rd error of the tournament).  Kasey Night followed with a single to score Johnson and make it a 2 – 1 game.  Drotzman then struck out Scott Anderson for his 10^th K of the game.  After a walk to Trevor Knight, Eric Williams (Tournament MV-Player) lined a single to right to score both Meyer and Knight for a 3 – 2 lead.   Bucknell’s Sisko Sabate (5 – 0 and Tournament MV-Pitcher) shut down Bodle in the 7^th to preserve the win. A Great Championship Game!!
