San Diego Fastpitch

So Cal ASA Alliance Team Page

The three Nuanez brothers, Johnny, Joe and Jaime are among the nucleus of the successful San Diego Fastpitch squad.  Their ace, "Z-man", Dan Zupp is consistently among the league leaders in ERA, wins and innings pitched, giving the club the chance to win any game they play, with capable Lee Thomas getting plenty of work as well. A strong, well balanced club with fastpitch veterans like Woody Woodworth, Terry Brightwell, Mark Fry, Michael Romero, Mike York, and Brian Webb, San Diego is among the top teams in the Alliance, currently hovering near the top of the standings in 2004.  San Diego added Jay Crawley from Indiana a couple years back, bolstering their already potent offense, and gets better still this year with the addition of former Team Rainey star, left-handed hitting first baseman, Joe Fernandez.
