The Year in Fastpitch - 2003

Is it time to turn the page on another year in fastpitch?  It seems like we were just in the midst of national and world tournaments just the other day.  But December it is, and like many of you, we're looking ahead to the new year, the new season, in 2004.  Our regular readers know that during the past year, we rolled out the "new look" fastpitchwest website that you see on this page.  We've still got a bit more housecleaning to do, moving files over from the old site, and updating our photo page links in particular.  We've enjoyed -- and appreciate -- all of the feedback that we receive from you.  Response to the new site and some of the new features has been gratifying.  One of the comments we hear often from our readers is that the site is easier to navigate, easier to find things.  If that is the case, then we succeeded, because that was one of our primary goals.

Going through the website at year end is a bit like cleaning out the garage.  You start out with good intentions of storing that old stuff away, and wind up sitting there a couple hours later, reading, or looking through things, and smiling as you remember this thing or that.  I decided to put pen to paper and share some random thoughts on "The Year in Fastpitch, 2003".
