The Portland DeMarini Rose Cup tournament is set to kick off Saturday, June 28, 2003 with four games starting at 9:00 a.m.   Twenty-one pool play/round robin games will be played on Saturday, determining seeding for Sunday's single elimination bracket for thirteen more games on Sunday, June 29, 2003. The championship game is slated for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Portland will also play host to the DeMarini Classic, a tournament of "next level" teams.

 Tournament Director Tom Ree of the host Portland DeMarini Merchants has a great field of teams in Portland for this one, including the 2002 ISC World Champion and ASA Major Champion, St. Joe Frontier Casino Players from St. Joe, Missouri.  Also competing for the title will be Top 25 World ranked Victoria Traveller's Inn, from Victoria, British Columbia, Vancouver Grey Sox of Vancouver, British Columbia, Team Lyons, of Fresno, California, the reigning 2002 ASA "A" Champion.  The host Portland DeMarini Merchants with Roberto Bahler and Kevin Careless are also a top 25 ISC World ranked team.
