An epic battle late Monday night at Moline, with two of the game’s best pitchers Jeremy Manley (Pueblo) and Sebastian Gervasutti (Bar/Appleton) dueling it out.
The # 10 ranked Pueblo Bandits topped the # 7 ranked Bar of Appleton, 1-0. The box score is a keeper, and worthy of your time to view. Manley picked up the win, surrendering only one hit, while striking out 13, while Gervasutti gave up just two hits, while striking out 15.
Mike Armitage had the lone hit for The Bar of Appleton, while Pueblo’s Jason Shea had the other hit for Pueblo.

Speaking of outstanding pitching performances, how about an 18 strikeout 3 hitter by Dean Holoien? Keep an eye on the D-Backs. Holoien always seems to get his teams to the final weekend, while Jeff Farion giving lefties fits. Team Canada’s Trevor Ethier rounds out the triple threat.
One more, Argentine Juan Potlicco and the # 9 ranked Minnesota Angels over Sean Cleary’s # 8 ranked PA Power team, 3-1:
