WALCOTT, Iowa – The Walcott Softball Organization is hosting the Iowa International Softball Congress (ISC) Qualifier men’s fastpitch softball tournament on June 8-10 and June 15-16, 2012.
2012 marks the 28th consecutive year for this tournament in Walcott, Iowa. 12 teams from Iowa and Illinois are entered, with the winner qualifying for the ISC World Tournament held in Midland, Michigan, on August 10-18, 2012.
Play begins Friday night, June 8th at 7:00 p.m., with two games at Wescott Park, 204 W. Otis Street. Games start at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 9th and 12 noon on Sunday, June 10th. Games are also played on Saturday, June 9 at 1:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 10 at 12 noon at Victory Park, E. James St. in Walcott. The tournament ends on Saturday, June 16th with games starting at 12 noon at Wescott Park.
The Quad City Sox are defending champions. Their first game in the tournament is slated for Saturday, June 9 at 3:45 p.m. at Wescott Park.
Daily admission in Walcott is $3.00 while tournament passes sell for $8.00. 16 and under are free of charge.

The Quad Cities will again host the ISC World tournament in 2013. It takes place next summer on August 9-17 at the Greenvalley Sports Complex in Moline, Ill.
