Softball Australia announced today the 17 man team plus 3 reserves for the Aussie Steelers men’s team that will compete for the 14th Men’s Softball World Championship to be played in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada from 26 June to 5 July.
The selectors for the men’s national team picked from the 29 player squad announced yesterday. The players representing Australia this year are:

The team includes four players from National Champions ACT 89ers and features the world’s best pitcher Adam Folkard. NSW has the highest representation on the team with five players named including James Todhunter who was named the best batter in the Men’s National Championships.
Softball fans are reminded that the game played between ACT and NSW for the 32nd John Reid Shield will be broadcast on Fox Sport on Wednesday 1 April. Check your TV guide for the time in your area.
