[LANCASTER PA] – A four-run explosion in the third inning carried USA Men’s National Team to a 7-0 win in five innings over Farmersville at Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
USA Men’s National Team scored in the third on a passed ball, an RBI single by Matt Palazzo, a bases loaded walk by Zack, and a sacrifice fly by Kris Bogach.
Pat Sagdal reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.
Farmersville couldn’t get anything going so long as Josh Johnson was on the hill. Johnson held Farmersville hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out 10.
Zack was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked seven and struck out three.
USA Men’s National Team increased its lead with two runs in the fifth. A sacrifice fly scored Chase Turner for the inning’s first run.
