[St Gervais, Quebec] – Josh Johnson was untouchable on Saturday, throwing a no-hitter in USA Men’s National Team’s 7-0 victory over Quebec.
No Quebec batter was able to locate Johnson’s pitches during the game. Johnson threw a no-hitter, striking out seven batters and walking two while recording his momentous feat. He got Jean-Pierre Savard to strike out for the final out of the game.
Everything was working at the plate for the USA Men’s National Team in the fifth. Quebec had no answer as USA Men’s National Team scored four runs. USA Men’s National Team scored in the fifth on , a passed ball, , a passed ball, , a passed ball, a two-run single by Marcus Tan, and a two-run single by Tan.
Chris Heinline racked up two RBIs on two hits for USA Men’s National Team. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
