The unbeaten USA Men’s National team takes on 1-1 Japan tonight, in a game with playoff berth implications at the 2015 WBSC World Championship at Saskatoon Canada, at 6pm local Saskatoon time, 5pm on the west coast and 8pm in the east.
The top 4 teams in each Pool advance to the medal round playoffs. The top two in each pool earns a “double life” in the page playoff system, a big advantage. Australia and Venezuela from the same Pool B as the USA and Japan are both 2-0, but will square off in the 830pm Saskatoon nightcap.

The USA has won both of their games thus far, beating Mexico 7-0, and a come from behind win over the Dominican Republic, 6-4, on a 3 run homer by Josh Johnson
Japan dropped their opener, 1-0 to Australia, at the hands of the world’s best pitcher, Adam Folkard, then came back to defeat Denmark 5-2.
The game will be live video streamed on Sports Canada TV, with Blair Setford and Jim Flanagan of Ballpark Broadcasting with the call of the game.
