From Codi Warren, USA Softball:
OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, announced today 19 coaches who have been selected to the 2017-2020 USA Softball Men’s National Team Coaching Pool. Head coaches and assistant coaches for the Men’s National Team (MNT) and Junior Men’s National Team (JMNT) will be selected from this list for all 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 competitions. Selected to the coaching pool by the Men’s National Team Selection Committee (MNTSC), coaches may be required to participate in international events, player evaluations, selection camps and other specified events as part of the evaluation process.
“It was instrumental for our Men’s National Team Selection Committee to select a group of coaches who will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our Men’s National Team Program,” said USA Softball National Teams Director Chris Sebren. “These coaches have proven themselves through their years of coaching and playing at the highest level of men’s fast pitch. We are excited to see their experience and leadership in action as they help to lead to our Men’s and Junior Men’s National Teams in building upon the legacy of USA Softball.”
