STEVENS, Pa. — Members of the 2017 USA Softball Men’s National Team (MNT) arrived in Stevens, Pa., where the team will participate in the Rodney Fox Memorial Tournament. Team USA will compete in four games against local men’s fast pitch teams on Saturday before entering into the playoff rounds on Sunday.

The USA Softball MNT will open play at 9 a.m. ET against PA Power followed by a 10:45 a.m. ET match against Kelly’s. Back-to-back games later in the day against Kurtz (5:45 p.m. ET) and Farmersville (7:30 p.m. ET) close out round robin games to determine the playoff bracket. The Rodney Fox Memorial Tournament is one of three events in which members of the 2017 MNT will compete in prior to the 2017 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Men’s World Championship. The team will also participate in the Father’s Day Memorial Tournament in Houston, Texas from June 16-18 and the Vancouver Challenge July 1-3 in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. The final 17-player roster for the 2017 USA Softball MNT will be determined prior to the WBSC Men’s Women’s World Championship, which will be held July 4-17 in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
With Denny Bruckert at the helm of the Men’s Program, the U.S. coaching staff also includes Greg Hicks (Bakersfield, Calif.), Gregg Leather (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Nick McCurry (Ashland, Ohio).
