Jeff Nowaczyk’s Grand Slam, 6 RBI Power USA to 11-0 win over Aruba

USA Men’s National Team defeated Aruba 11-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Duane Weiler induced a groundout from Sando to finish off the game.
Jeff Nowaczyk led USA Men’s National Team to victory by driving in six runs. He went 2-for-3 at the plate. Nowaczyk drove in runs on a grand slam in the fifth and a single in the fifth.
USA Men’s National Team scored ten runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Erick Ochoa, a grand slam by Nowaczyk, a double by Derrick Kennedy, a single by Cameron Schiller, and a single by Nowaczyk.
A double by Arnold Angelo in the first inning was a positive for Aruba.
Joel Cooley earned the win for USA Men’s National Team. He tossed four innings, giving up zero runs, four hits, striking out seven, and walking zero. Thompson took the loss for Aruba. He went four innings, giving up five runs, five hits, and striking out one.
USA Men’s National Team collected 11 hits. Nowaczyk and Kennedy each collected multiple hits for USA Men’s National Team. Kennedy and Nowaczyk. USA Men’s National Team didn’t commit a single error in the field. Nowaczyk had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
Aruba didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kevin Silvana had the most chances in the field with ten.
