The playoff round at the 2018 Intercontinental Cup will be abbreviated due to rain. New Zealand will face Japan in the finals, while the host Czech Republic will take on Argentina in the Bronze Medal game. (All other games cancelled). Kudos to the grounds crew for working on the fields to get in these medal round games. The tournament has been a rousing success, including outstanding live stream video coverage on Playo.tv, and Jakub Kopriva in the booth. A sign of good things to come when Prague plays host to the 2019 WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship.
