Update 2020 Las Vegas Road Trip and Coronavirus Pandemic
While the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is evolving rapidly, it has negatively impacted the Las Vegas Road Trip Tournament. Therefore, we have decided to cancel this year’s tournament for the health and safety our players, umpires, staff members, and spectators.
We wanted to notify you now so you have enough time to cancel your hotel rooms, car rentals, and airplane tickets.
Entry fees will be refunded to all the teams within the next couple of days. Individuals that paid online will be refunded back to their PayPal or Credit Card. I will be reaching out to those who paid by check to make arrangements for their refund.
The NAFA National Office has been notified as well since this is a NAFA Regional Qualifier for their World Series. Teams interested in attending the NAFA Men’s Fastpitch World Series can contact Benjie Hedgecock, NAFA Executive Director at Nafafastpitch@gmail.com or at (503) 559-5398.
The 2020 NAFA Men’s Fastpitch World Series will be held in Rockford, IL on the following dates:
“A” – Aug 12-16
“A-Major” – Aug 13-16
“AA” – Aug 14-16
23 – Under will be held at Circle Tap, WI on Aug 13-16
Masters Midwest on Sept 11-13 at Moline, Ill
Masters West on Sept 25-27 at Carson City, NV
On behalf of the Southern California Independent Fastpitch League (“SCIFL”), we regret having to cancel this event that everyone loves to attend. We will resume next year, and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
