Team Marquez, MEX and FC Pirates CA in Winner’s Bracket Final Sunday
Team Marquez from Mexico won their second game of the tournament in the AA division with a 6-1 win over Bear Creek Express from Ontario Canada. . José Segura tossed a 2 hitter with 9 strikeouts, while his counterpart for Bear Creek, Justin Schofield struck out 10, surrendering five runs on five hits with five walks .
Eric Ochoa powered the Team Marquez offense, with two hits and three RBI, while J.Aguila and L. Villavazo drove in a run a piece.

Team Marquez will face the FC Pirates in the Winner Bracket Final on Sunday morning at 11:30 AM Las Vegas time.
The FC Pirates won their first two games, to surrender a run in the tournament, defeating a good Canadian Team, STK, 1-0, and the ATP Crawlers, 8-0.
STK Canada rebounded from its tough 1-0 loss to the FC Pirates, notching two wins on Saturday, 7-6 over two other Canadian teams, 7-6 over Aiken Lake and 7-4 over 222 Fastpitch. STK will face the ATP Crawlers in a loser’s bracket game on Sunday morning at 945am LV time.
After a tough 2-1 loss to the ATP Crawlers in the winners bracket, the Budmen of California won three straight in the loser’s bracket, 6-1 over Aiken Lake, 3-2 over Rude Pac, and 6-0 over the NW Braves.
The Budmen will face the Bear Creek Express at 8 AM LV time.
The winner of the Budmen-Bear Creek Game will face the winner of the STK-ATP Crawler’s game at 11:30am LV time.
A Major Division
The Kansas City Bravos will face Dundalk Smoke from Ontario Canada in the winners bracket final Sunday morning in the A major division of the Las Vegas tournament.
The KC squad ran roughshod over their competition, scoring 30 runs while surrendering none, looking like a team playing out of division. The Bravos won their first game Friday night, 9-0 over the Coyotes, and two more on Saturday, a 10-0 win over the SK Merchants followed by an 11-0 win over Maccabi MEX.
Dundalk Smoke from Ontario defeated the Hustle Hogs 7-0 on Friday, and the Oklahoma Sykos 4-2 in their only Saturday contest.
Anthem Hills Dental from Nevada won three straight games on Saturday, to run their record to a perfect 4-0 in the tournament and will face the Plebes squad from Mexico in the winners bracket final on Sunday morning at 9:45 AM.
Anthem Hills defeated Red Leaf on Friday night 11-8, followed by an 11-0 rout of the Homeboys from New Mexico, a 10-4 win over the Tribal Brothers from Oklahoma, and finished the day with a 6-3 victory over a tough Budmen team from California.
The Plebes knocked off the Vancouver Hawks 6-3 on Friday night, and notched two wins on Saturday, 9-3 over the Calgary Rockies, followed by a 12-1 victory over JRM
In the loser’s bracket, several team put together a string of wins, but Raymar, from the SCIFL stood out from the crowd, notching five, count ’em, 5 wins on Saturday before falling in their sixth game of the day, a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Tribal Brothers of Oklahoma (the team that knocked them into the loser’s bracket on Friday by an identical score.
Raymar started their grueling day on Saturday at 8:15 AM and finished by playing their last game that started at 8 PM Saturday. Raymar started the tournament with a 7-3 win over 22 Concrete/MPC on Friday, giving them six wins overall in the tournament.
