The local organising committee launched a Christmas Special Package for the entire tournament, for only €55.60. This special offer will last until 6 January. Ticket packages are available via VivaTicket.

Fans from around the world can now acquire their tickets for the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals, the greatest international women’s softball tournament in the world. The eight-team Finals will run from 15 to 20 July, 2024 in Castions di Strada, Friuli Venezia-Giulia. 

After a pre-sale reserved for the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation (FIBS) members, the local organising committee now offers a Christmas Special Package for the entire tournament, for only €55.60. This special offer will last until 6 January. Ticket packages are available on VivaTicket.

On 7 January, the tournament package will cost €61.50 with individual game-day tickets also on sale.

Ticket-package holders will have a numbered seat in the grandstand for the 22 games of the event and these packages can be purchased exclusively on the official Vivaticket platform. Children born in or after 2018 will receive guaranteed free entry without the right to a seat.

After the Group Stage in 2023, the eight qualified teams have been divided into two groups. Group A includes No. 1 USA, No. 5 Canada, host No. 6 Italy, and No. 15 China. Group B features No. 2 Japan, No. 3 Puerto Rico, No. 8 Netherlands, and No. 10 Australia.

Four games will be played each day, with Australia facing Japan in the opening match on July 15 at 11 am local time. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Round, while the bottom two teams from each group will compete in the Placement Round to determine fifth to eighth-place positions.

The Women’s Softball World Cup World Championship Final and the Bronze Medal Game will take place on July 20. You can see the full schedule here.

Played for the first time under the Two-Stage Format, he XVII WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup opened in July 2023 with 18 teams competing at the Group Stage. Group A was played in Balbrigan, Ireland, with USA and Australia advancing to the Finals as winner and runner up respectively. In Group B, played in Valencia, Spain, Puerto Rico and Netherlands earned their tickets as the top-two teams in the group, while Japan and Canada advanced from Group C, played in Castions di Strada, Italy. The host of the Finals, Italy, and China, were awarded the two wild cards to complete the eight-team lineup for the World Championship Finals.

USA is the most decorated nation in the world with 12 world titles on their name, including the last three in a row. Japan (3), Australia (1), and New Zealand (1) are the other three women’s softball world champions. 

Five of the eight participating teams in the Finals have won a medal in the past. USA has won a medal in all 16 previous editions, followed by Japan and Australia, with 12 and eight respectively. China has three and Canada four. Italy, Netherlands and Puerto Rico aim to claim their first-ever Women’s Softball World Cup medal.
