The first meeting of the 2011 KFL season was last week and while some things are still to be decided, the season looks like its going to be the biggest in a while.
Sixteen teams this year will compete in the Kitchener Fastball League, up two teams from last year. Full team bios will be posted, likely after the April meeting.
We are also expanding our playing locations. Budd Park in Kitchener, our beautiful home diamond is at its capacity for the KFL, so we are going to move some games in our schedule, out to the newly-built diamonds in New Dundee. A short drive away from Budd Park, these diamonds will help the league put together a more consistent schedule for teams.
The April meeting still has a few questions to be answered but a full schedule and all the team details will be up soon.
