The USA Jr. Mens’ team roster and schedule of games for the upcoming ISF International Tournament in Prince Edward Island, Canada, June 24, 2005-July 3, 2005 is posted at the ASA website.
The roster includes links to photo and bio of each player, including So Cal’s own, Kevin Castillo. Kevin grew up playing fastpitch in the city leagues with his dad Paul Castillo, including El Segundo and Artesia as a member of the Rounders (and sometimes playing against the Rounders). He is a standout player on the baseball team at Long Beach Poly, the same high school that the great Tony Gwynn of the San Diego Padres attended. The bios make for interesting reading.
