International Softball Congress World Tournament representative Larry Koberg, of Walcott, Iowa, is all smiles after receiving a coffee mug from Joe Taylor, President/CEO of the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau, during a press conference announcing the Quad-Cities will host the 2009 International Softball Congress World Tournament. In the background are Moline Mayor Don Welvaert, left, and VP of sales for QCCVB Lynn Hunt. Mr. Taylor said he was giving Mr. Koberg the coffee mug that Mr. Koberg used when they first met over coffee to discuss the possibility of bringing the tournament to the QCA.
