Canadian Men’s Fastpitch Championship Back on Track After Rain
Jarvis Ontario is still the team to beat entering the final day of round-robin play at the Men’s Canadian Fastpitch Championships…
The lone team that can bump them from top spot in the round-robin are the host Aspen Interiors. But it won’t be easy as Aspen will be on the diamond three times today to make up the washed out Tuesday schedule.
Yesterday, Jarvis won both their games 3-2 over Camrose and 6-1 over Horse Lake. Aspen, however, were upset 3-2 by PEI in one of four major upsets on the day. They did rebound, however, to top St. Thomas and the Polyplus Diamondbacks. The loss for the Diamondbacks was their second in three games on the day. They are now in 8th place at 2-and-4.
The other Saskatchewan entry, Bruno, split their games and are in 9th place at 2-and-5.
