If you guessed that the stylish, distinctive delivery belonged to Argentine Sebastian Gervasutti, you are right ! The video clip was shot at the Best of the West tournament over the past weekend, during the Saturday morning game between Rude Pac of Sun Valley, California and Seba’s Bakersfield Silverhawk team. Rude Pac prevailed in the game, 2-0 behind young Cory Avery, who struck out 11, while Sebastian struck out 9 in the loss. Rude Pac went on to finish in a tie for 3rd in the tournament, while the Silverhawks made it to the championship game, before falling to the eventual winners, the California A’s.
Below is a shot of Seba at the AAU tournament in Orlando, Florida, in 2008, when he was a member of the championship team, Mac’s, and one of four pitchers to share the Most Valuable Pitcher’s trophy.
