[Las Vegas, NV] – The time is now for the sixth and possibly final edition of the popular Spring Training event, the 2005 Spring Swing Fastpitch Weekend, April 2-3 in Las Vegas at the Cheyenne Sports Complex on the campus of the Community College of Southern Nevada in North Las Vegas. Eighteen teams total in two divisions, A/B with 8, and C with 10 will battle it out to see who some of the preseason picks are for 2005. Follow the action at www.fastpitchwest.com as I will be calling in scores to Jim Flanagan on a game by game basis. 2004 SSFW Champions, Provo Canyon Blues in the A/B Division are now the Desert Dawgs, and returning C title holders Red Leaf Fastpitch are both looking for their second consecutive championship and looking to join the El Segundo Rounders in the SSFW record book.
