Elmira Cubs top ISC II Preseason Rankings

Toronto, ON] – Defending Champion Elmira, ON Cubs claim top spot in the ISC II Preseason Rankings released today. Elmira tops a list of more than 50 teams from across North America that received at least one vote from the panel of 12 judges. Seven of the top 10 hail from the hotbed of ISCII fastball, the Ontario province. (not surprising, considering all four Final Four teams last year were from Ontario. Three teams from the USA have broken into the top 10, Black Gold from Herman, MO, Cutro Professional Inspection of NY (CPI, formerly McKie Sports), and KMV Rise, of PA, holding down the 7, 8 and 9 spots, respectively.

The rankings will form the basis for seeding teams in the fifth
annual ISC II Tournament of Champions which will be played August
13-18 at Budd Park in Kitchener and Kinsmen Park in Cambridge,
Ontario. The tournament will feature 40 teams from across North
America playing a four-game round robin schedule in eight pools
of five teams each. The top three teams from each pool advance
to a single elimination playoff bracket.
