“Go West, young man, go west!” wrote Indiana newspaper writer John Soule’s back in 1851. Well, the men in the masters division may not be young, but west they will be headed.
On the heels of the completion of the NAFA Masters EAST in Rockford Illinois last weekend, NAFA will hold their western regional Masters tournament in Carson City, Nevada this weekend, September 15 and 16, 2007. Carson City is located about a half hour south of Reno, (aka “The Biggest Little City in the World”) Carson City was founded in the boom days of mining. A center of silver mining, Carson City is the capital of Nevada and was named for explorer Kit Carson.
