It sure looks like a great weekend ahead of us at the Tavistock Ball Parks. A nice crowd gathered for opening night at Queen’s Park in Tavistock for the opening games of the Cephas Roth Memorial Fastpitch tournament.
Clear blue skies, green outfield, beautiful refurbished ball park, in one of the nicest towns in south western Ontario, parked right on the edge of Waterloo, Oxford and Perth counties, just south of hwy 7 between Kitchener and Stratford.
The KW Cubs and Shakespeare Falcons opened this years tournament with a great ball game. Scott Wagar of the Cubs and Fred Follings went the distance, with Folling of the Falcons picking up the 1 – 0 win over South Perth rival KW Cubs.
