Four run third for the Silverhawks
The Silverhawks notched 4 of their 5 runs in a big third inning and cruised to victory behind the remarkable outing by Schweyer. In the inning, after two outs were recorded, the top of the batting order went to work. Scott Newitt singled and stole second. Shawn Mandolesi singled, scoring Newitt. James Close singled, scoring Mandolesi. Close stole second. Kris Waverick singled driving in two. Jerome Haretuku singled, scoring Waverick, knocking starter Jeff Murphy from the game.
