Four Prince George ball players helped Randy’s As of Invermere nail down a top-10 finish at the International Softball Congress world championship over the weekend in Waterloo, Ont.
Evan Potskin, Randy Potskin, Brendon Creyke and Chad Ghostkeeper helped the A’s to a 3-2 record, good enough for a ninth-place finish in the 64-team tournament. Click here to read the complete story at The Prince George Citizen.
Editor’s note: Ghosts of the past: So Cal fans will remember Evan Potskin and Chad Ghostkeeper played with the So Cal Bombers of 2008, which finished second in the ISC World Tournament, behind champions The Farm. Interesting side note: Korey Garreau, who pitched for this year’s Randy’s A’s team and earned second team all world honors was the Most Valuable Pitcher for the Farm when they won it in 2007. The locale? Peter Hallman Ballyard, the last time it had been held in Kitchener Ontario. (the posted article above says 2008, but it was actually 2007)
