Jakarta – In the last match on Thursday evening of the Giants Invitational Softball Cup Tournament in Jakarta, Chikara led by YAM PengiranAnak Mansurah Izzul Bolkiah faced a strong opposition maintaining a tied 0-0 score until the 6th inning when Prambors managed to score a point and won the match.
In the second match for Kensei, the Brunei team were beaten by Citra Muda 8-1.
Yesterday morning saw Kensei losing to Singapore 4-1 and Chikara thrashed Pejabat by a run ahead of 10-0 in the third inning.
Black Arrows lost to Hong Kong 4-3 but managed to tie with Hong Kong 3-3 until the latter hit an over the fence home run winning the match.
In the afternoon matches, Mohican bested Black Arrows 7-0, the men’s host team, Giants overpowered Gunners 9-0 and Kensei won their first game defeating Green Leaf 4-1.
