Czech will host the ISF World Cup Men
It should be the most important softball tournament in Czech this season. Fans of softball can look forward on the very good softball since 13th to 18th June when Czech Republic is hosting the men’s ISF World Cup. This tournament is the second edition of very successful men’s ISF World Cup 2007. First time this very big event was organized in Prague and Havlickuv Brod in June 2007.Where can I see it? The main part of the matches will be played in Eagles Praha fields in Krc – Green Roller Park, five matches will be played in Joudrs Svoboda Park in Bohnice and also two games will be in Havlickuv Brod – Hippos Stadium, where the last men’s European Championship was organized. Entrance to all fields is free for all games.
Who will play on World Cup? The teams are coming from all over the World. Non-European teams are teams from Japan and Indonesia. From Europe it will be Denmark and two Czech teams, national team and Prague stars. These five teams will compete in double round robin and four of them will go to play-off matches.
And who are the teams? All this teams played on last men’s World Championship in Saskatoon 2009 and also Japan and Czech teams played 2007 in Prague. Japan won the first edition of World Cup so this team is defeating the title.
Can I see the tournament also in TV? Whole tournament will be covered by media. There is contract with Czech Television. The sport channel CT4 will cove three games with life broadcasting and final will be taped and during weak after it will be in TV. Except television there will be also press and news everyday.

Who are the teams? Czech and Denmark team top European teams. Czech Team won many times European Championship, but last trophy was won by Denmark, so this will be the next chance to defeat top place in Europe for Denmark or chance for Czech to catch the prime. Last softball battles between this teams was played this May during DK-Czech fast pitch Challenge in Denmark that was won by Czech team 4:1 in games. The next challenge for both this teams is team Japan that is defeating champion of the World Cup and sixth team from last World Championship.
