[Munger, MI] – For the 3rd time in the past four years softball players from Argentina will be travelling to Munger to play an exhibition softball game against the Munger Volunteer Fireman softball team. In 2008 and 2009, the Men’s National Team took part in an exhibition game as they toured North America in preparation for their International competition. This year, the Junior Men’s National Team (19-Under) is stopping in mid-Michigan as part of their North American tour which includes stops in Wisconsin, Michigan and Ontario.
Many of the current Munger Vols team has played in Youth/19-under competition under Manager Del Benson over the years before moving up into the Men’s league.
The game will begin at 7:00 p.m on Tuesday, July 12th and will be a 9-inning game. Admission is free. The game will be played at the Munger Volunteer Fireman field, located under the water tower at the intersection of M-138 and Finn Road in Munger.
