Guatemala National Team went 6 and 0 at the Panama International Fastpitch tournament at Ciudad del Saber in Panama City, Panama to become the tournament’s champions.
On their way to the top there were only two close games they played. One was against Aeronaval team were they were forced to come back from a 6 to 1 deficit in the 6th. The other one was a 2 to 1 victory against Panama Metro.
A team from Venezuela, ” Los Venezolanos ” finished second with two teams from Panama, Herrera and Panama Metro finishing 3rd and 4th.
On the women’s side, Gigantes de Venezuela only lost one game against a local team from Colon, Panama to then defeat Industriales de Carabobo also of Venezuela in the championship game.
