The grounds crews were working on the fields Saturday morning, and the official website indicated games would go forward, though a bit later in the day than originally announced, as they were still working to get the fields ready.

The start to the USA Jr Men’s game with @SoftballCanada will be delayed as the field crews are still working on the fields.
As of 10am Eastern time (noon in Parana), the tournament Twitter feed is showing the games going forward:

As of 10:30am eastern time (12:30pm in Parana), the field shown on the live stream was looking better (dryer) than in the photo below.
