MEN’S SOFTBALL ON THE PAN AMERICAN PROGRAMME
This Friday concluded the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Pan American Sports Organization held in Kingston, Jamaica. The Assembly was attended by over 200 leaders, including presidents and secretaries general of National Olympic Committees of America, Presidents of International Federations, including ISF President Don Porter, members of the International Olympic Committee in America and special guests. ISF 1st Vice President, Dale McMann, and Vice President for Latin America, Jesus Suniaga, were in attendance.
It was recommended to include men’s softball, in addition to women’s softball at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games. The Pan American Games will now include 36 sports and more than 6,000 athletes.
