UPDATED 8:25pm: A mad rush for the New Zealand mens’ softballers in travelling to and from tonight’s Halberg Awards in Auckland.
The world champion men’s Black Sox who are vying for the team of the year were all in Christchurch playing for their local associations in the National Fastpitch Championships.
They flew into Auckland late this afternoon for the awards, and will fly straight back to Christchurch on the first flight tomorrow morning.
