It isn’t common that someone is honored with a National Award for their work in Men’s fastpitch softball, that falls out of the umbrella’s of ASA, ISC, or NAFA. As someone who competed in the Maccabi USA Fastpitch program for 26 years, I offer my heartfelt congratulations to my dear friend, colleague, and teammate Fred Cohen. Below is an announcement and hold the date notice for anyone who might be able to be in Chicago on July 28th.
In Fred’s leadership role within the Maccabi USA Fastpitch softball program, he represents one of the strongest forces in the worldwide Maccabi Movement!

Golf, ILThe Robert E. Spivak Leadership award is the highest honor Maccabi USA can bestow upon its volunteers. The award presented to Fred will be only the fifth since its inception in 2003.
Please plan to join us for cocktails, dinner and a roast celebrating Fred, immediately following our annual golf tournament.
