The CR Brewers shut out the Pala Braves Sunday in the 23rd Annual Best of the West championship game pitching, 4-0 at Elings Park in Santa Barabara, California. The Brewers rode the right arms of Canadian pitchers in the semi-final and final for the victory. Derek Mayson picked up the win in the semi-final, while Scott Lieph notched the win in the championship game.
Team USA’s Tony Mancha pitched the Pala Braves into the final, with a 2-1 gem over J&B Painting in one of two semi-finals Sunday.
