# 7 ranked Cal A’s await opener at ISC World Tournament Sunday

The Cal A’s enter the 2014 ISC World Tournament at Kitchener, Ontario Canada as the # 7 ranked team in the world, earning themselves a first-round bye. The California team await their opener Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. following opening ceremonies. The game will be played just up the road from the main field, Peter Hallman Ballyard, at Budd Park. A number of the A’s were recently named to the USA National team, to represent Team USA at the Pan-Am qualifier in Parana, Argentina in October, including pitchers Tony Mancha and Josh Johnson, catcher Bobby Rosthenhausler, along with Nate Devine, Marcus Tan and Chase Turner

The A’s will take on the winner of Saturday nights’ contest between the Marshall MI Great Lakes Mariners and Tavistock ON Tavistock Merchants, which goes off at 8pm EDT, 5pm on the west coast.
