Bogach will now travel the world
Kris Bogach grew up watching his dad, John, play in competitive softball leagues in Port Jervis and Middletown.
At the time, the sport was in its heyday locally, with 500 fans often showing up for weeknight games. Young Kris loved the excitement of the crowd and the adrenaline of the game. That stage back in the day was big, but not as big as this.
Bogach, 35, of Huguenot has been selected to play for the U.S. men’s national fast-pitch softball team that will compete in the Pan American Games and International Softball Federation (ISF) World Championship qualifier in October in Argentina.
